We made our first camping excursions together as newlyweds in the late 60's, and have since owned two pop-up campers, three travel trailers and two class C motorhomes. In 2002, we sold our house in Florida and have been fulltime RV'ing ever since. We celebrated our 42nd. Anniversary on June 14th. of 2010, and are spending more time working along Route 66 as the Director of the Route 66 Chamber of Commerce.
During the past 8 years on the road, I produced a thirteen-program television series on RV'ing titled "RV USA TV". The series features interesting RV destinations such as Florida (4-programs), Stone Mountain, GA. (2-programs), Dollywood and the Great Smokey Mountains, TN. (2-programs), Branson, MO. (3-programs) and Route 66 (MO.-KS. 2-programs). These programs are currently hosted (by Passport America) for free, online viewing by anyone, anytime, anywhere in the world.
(To watch the 13, 25 programs, Click on the RV USA TV link at the top of this page.)

Barbara and I had the opportunity to meet, and interview, fulltime RV'ers, RV Park Owners, RV Industry and Trades People, Workampers....just about anyone who is involved in the Recreational Vehicle Industry,...and what a great bunch of people they are.
We have also spent four seasons workamping; two winters at the Destin, Florida RV Beach Resort as Activities Director (and Campground Host & Maintenance), eight months as on-site Volunteer Hosts, managing
(and securing) the Fort Walton Beach, FL. day use section of the Gulf Islands National Seashore for the National Park Service, four months at Topsail State Park in Walton County Florida in 2009 (housekeeping & Maintenance), two months at the Lonestar Jellystone Resort west of Houston and the Roadrunner Resort west of Austin.
We are presently preparing to head to Amarillo, TX. to attend the International Route 66 Festival in June.
